Charlotte Flair’s road to WrestleMania is uncertain following WWE SmackDown, but The Queen recently got emotional and broke down at a major event.

Earlier this year, the Royal Rumble took place in Saudi Arabia for the first time and made history as the major event occurred outside the United States. However, the event also featured AJ Styles’ final wrestling match when he lost to Gunther in a one-on-one contest.

In a video uploaded on WWE’s YouTube channel, the company captured AJ Styles’ day leading up to his final match for the promotion. During this, several superstars got emotional and spoke highly of The Phenomenal One. Around the 18:50 mark, Charlotte Flair broke down in tears when she met Styles.

The Queen was emotional, bidding the Men’s Grand Slam Champion goodbye. Moreover, she hinted that he might not be done, as he didn’t put his gloves down following his match against Gunther.

“Who am I gonna text for my matches? Are you happy? He didn’t put his gloves down,” Flair said.

Charlotte Flair won’t compete at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026

Earlier this year, Charlotte Flair tried punching her ticket to WrestleMania 42 against a champion of her choosing. Unfortunately, The Queen was unable to repeat her feat from last year’s gimmick match, as Liv Morgan won the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair faced Kiana James and Nia Jax in a Triple Threat match. Sadly, Flair was pinned by James when she was unable to release the Figure 8 on time. Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss will be in the upcoming Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

As of now, Flair won’t compete at the event in Chicago. However, Jade Cargill mocked The Queen, and there’s a possibility that the 14-time WWE Women’s Champion will find a way into the steel structure and compete in the gimmick match heading into WrestleMania 42.
